I find constant voting (and i mean CONSTANT voting) can help. Get yourself on every server list, and vote every day. Cant post links here, but theres 2 major ones that if you vote everyday, you have a decent chance of getting people.

Thats just a Mad Commands GUI issue, i recommend relogging or doing /cmd backup and turning server off/on. Sadly, theres no better fix for it right now
