Hello everyone!
I am saddened to announce my resignation from the leet team and that I’m going to leave the community. This has been a very difficult decision to make, which I’ve been thinking of for the past few months.
I’ve been with leet for 3 years straight (since 2015) and I haven’t left once. I’ve always been active in the community and tried my best to help and be involved. Many opportunities have been presented to me that I never thought would ever be a thing (such as joining the leet chat, talking to b3, 1k and others by voice, becoming part of the team by being a forum mod, etc...). I really enjoyed all the good times leet has brought to me.
However, I decided that it was time to call it off. You may be wondering... why so?
Well, there are many reasons for my decision. First off, I realized how much time I’m wasting doing all the forum mod work and trying to be as active as possible. Specially considering that I’m not getting anything out of it (since it’s fully voluntary). It just doesn’t seem right to spend all of this time while I could’ve utilized it into something more beneficial to myself.
Secondly, my server was only successful for the first few months. Then, as much effort, time, and money I’ve invested on it, it just wasn’t really doing that well. I’ve tried everything... but with no luck. It just seems like everyone makes their own servers now... which made them not even bother joining other servers unless they want to advertise or cause trouble. And when the chunk resetting thingy caused my entire map except for a small area around the spawn to completely vanish, that was the last straw and I abandoned my server ever since.
Finally, some community members and staff members always seem to get on my nerves. They’re always rude, always trying to get me on trouble for the dumbest of things, they always turn the tables when I say anything about them and somehow manage to make it seem like I’m the one at fault. There are also the ones that are very close-minded, they always want things to go their way and don’t care what the rest have to say about it. And the ones that don’t appreciate anything you do for them. You know who you are, I’m not going to list those people as I’m not really trying to shame anyone here (sorry if I sounded a bit too harsh... I tried to be as nice as possible).
I would like to thank all those who contributed into making these amazing moments I had with leet. And all the nice people out there! It was a pleasure meeting you all! It was also an honor to work at leet. And I apologize if I’ve ever made anyone upset or if I’ve ever done anything that might’ve made you mad.
