Why the migration from NodeBB to XenForo?

The rank names are very creative... I personally would’ve never thought about them

Who came up with the name ideas? Also, Cake prefers to call them "titles" not ranks, as I found out in the DM's...

yeh it's great but there are some post in the old forums I wish I would've have changed. I never expected a migration to happen so I wasn't worried. I had links saved instead of the codes.

Well I mean, I would rather have a forum with good quality that has a uptime of 90%, than a bad forum with a 100% uptime.

XenForo is much better and more efficient than NodeBB... it also looks more like a forum and less plain.

Personally, I think that the migration of the LEET Forums from NodeBB to XenForo was a bad idea. I can't fully understand why the LEET Team has taken this desicion and how good are the pros versus the cons to being, from now on, paying a license to keep up the forum.

Xenforo has better performance than NodeBB. Almost every forum community uses it.

NodeBB was way more difficult anyways. There was a lot you had to do if you wanted a simple profile picture change. Plus, xenforo has more features as well.
