Yeah, his iPhone 6S wouldn't allow him to unlock it, even though the password was correct. In the end, Apple said he had to get a replacement.
That has nothing to do with tapjoy... he either forgot his password and typed it wrong multiple times (with the “erase data” option on) causing it to get locked (requiring a restore).... or he forgot his apple id password causing him to not be able to go through the activation lock after restoring (or both)

Either way, non would need a replacement of the whole phone...

I think you misunderstood... as in the virus gained through TapJoy locked his device, not that he forgot his password.

That can’t happen... iOS is setup in a way that nothing, literally nothing... can get that much access to the system allowing to do things such as locking the user out of their own device

Doesn’t matter... it’s not possible in any form or way for him to get a virus on an iOS device... it’s just not how things work
yeh I've never heard of someone with an iOS having a virus. All I can say is that it's not common for people getting viruses on iOS devices
