That has nothing to do with tapjoy... he either forgot his password and typed it wrong multiple times (with the “erase data” option on) causing it to get locked (requiring a restore).... or he forgot his apple id password causing him to not be able to go through the activation lock after restoring (or both)
Either way, non would need a replacement of the whole phone...

That can’t happen... iOS is setup in a way that nothing, literally nothing... can get that much access to the system allowing to do things such as locking the user out of their own device

I very much doubt it... it’s probably one of the things I mentioned above , could even be that someone else in his household was trying to guess his password and got it locked
